Thomson Park

The Trust serves as advisor and/or fiscal agent for projects which enhance the National Park sites at Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie and the Charles Pinckney Site.

In 2012 we helped establish Thomson Park on Sullivan’s Island in conjunction with the National Park Service and more than 150 individuals and organizations.

This free public park preserves a historic site associated with the June 1776 Battle of Sullivan's Island and Fort Moultrie and educates visitors about the battle and the role of Charles Town early in the American Revolution.

The Trust continues to serve as Thomson Park's 501(c)(3) agent for receiving and disbursing funds. Click here to learn more about Thomson Park.
